Jack in his favourite rocking chair, photographed by John Vachon for Look magazine in 1959. Jack eventually had 14 such chairs made by the P&P Furniture Co. of North Carolina and put in his various homes and offices.

I got this lovely postcard last weekend when we visited the JFK Library. I had this little frame that it fit perfectly in so I hung it up in our living room along with several other Kennedy photos and memorabilia I have. My husband says “gee, everywhere I look Jack is staring at me. I don’t know how I feel about that.” lol I’m so glad he understands and accepts my Kennedy fascination/ obsession. :)

My sister-in-law got this book for me for Christmas last year. :)

this one is all in german, and it talks about the assassination. :(  while it’s sad, it is beautifully done.

the old advertisements are great, and i appreciate them from a design perspective.

my husband also bought 3 old magazines from the 60’s…this one is all photos from the archival photos from look magazine. there are a bunch of spreads…i will post more from them sparatically once i get them scanned. :)

my husband bought me this record yesterday. it has a bunch of his speeches, and it was like stepping back in time when i closed my eyes while i listened. <3

In this recent photo-card from Caroline and the JFK Library and Museum, President Kennedy is shown feeding bread to a deer in Lassen National Park, Calif., in September 1963. The next morning when the president asked why there was no toast with his breakfast, he was told he had fed the entire supply to the deer.

this is hilarious and adorable.
