This is pretty much everyone’s (that I know) favourite (older) photo of me.  It’s a self-portrait that I did after my first year of college when I was bored one day and re-organising my bookshelf.  For the caption/title, I used a quote that I have always loved: A book is a present you can open again and again.

Another throw-back photo…back in my senior year of high school? or maybe it was my first year of college in Plattsburgh, NY…Anyhow, I miss how black and shiny my hair used to be. Whenever I see this photo, I am reminded of my friends band in High School who did a battle-of-the bands thing, and one of the songs they did was “Sheena Is A Punk Rocker” —but they dedicated it to me, and changed the lyrics to “Shawna (is a punk rocker now)…” P.S. The Ramones are still awesome! :)
